Association Rules

  1. Constitution
  2. Membership definitions
    1. school - a school membership entitles the school to access all resources and up to three teachers to attend meetings. If space permits more representatives may attend.
    2. individual - a person who has or is currently teaching or supporting the teaching of computing in NSW schools
    3. student teacher - an individual who is currently undertaking studies to become a teacher of computing. This could include teachers retraining in this area or individuals undertaking an undergraduate teaching degree or graduates undertaking teaching training.
  3. Meetings
    1. Anyone is entitled to apply to attend a meeting but preference is given to members.
    2. Application forms are only processed when payment is received.
    3. Applications are normally processed in order of receipt. If a meeting should be oversubscribed, preference will be given to individual members and a maximum of three members per school.
    4. Individual sessions may have number restrictions. People are allocated to these sessions as applications are received.
    5. We request three choices per session so that member choices can be respected. If no choices are made then members will be allocated at random to available sessions.
  4. Access to members only areas of the website
    1. Members are provided with a username and password on condition that they use these resources for educational purposes in their classroom or school.
    2. Resources are not available for commercial use or redistribution outside their school in any form, unless specific permission has been granted.
    3. Members are expected to keep their username and password confidential. In the case of a school, more than one teacher at that school may have access, but only one is permitted to access at any one time.
    4. Website will be monitored for user access and anyone abusing fair use conditions will have their access revoked.
    5. Current membership is required for this access to be valid.
